Aidan O'Connell not on the field for Thursday's practice

Aidan O'Connell participated in Las Vegas' walk-through and spoke to the media on Wednesday. But that does not necessarily mean he's free and clear to play against Atlanta on Monday night.

According to multiple reporters on the scene, O'Connell was not participating in the portion of the Raiders' Thursday practice open to media.

O'Connell is dealing with a bone bruise in his knee suffered in the Week 14 loss to Tampa Bay. He said on Wednesday that he's “hoping to get there” to start on Monday night.

If O’Connell isn’t able to play, Desmond Ridder would be in line to start against the team that drafted him in 2022.

Las Vegas’ full Thursday injury report will be released later in the day.
