Almeida’s ceiling at HW/LHW - Is he champ material?
Will be interesting to see how far he can go. Could easily see him fighting for the HW title in the near future if he wins another fight or two, especially over guys above him like Gane or Volkov who I would favour him to beat. Once Jones vacates/retires, Aspinall will need some fresh opponents considering he’s finished Blaydes, Pavlovich and Volkov already Another potential option is LHW perhaps? If he can make the weight safely; he’s not a big HW and weighs in the 230 range. He’d also be the best grappler in that division by far, would be a major problem for LHWs with his BJJ, takedowns and physicality.
