The Saints practiced without running back Alvin Kamara for the second straight day on Thursday.
Kamara has missed both days of practice this week due to an illness. Friday will bring another practice session and the Saints will issue their injury designations, both of which should shed more light on whether or not Kamara is at risk of missing Sunday's game against the Commanders.
Quarterback Derek Carr (left hand, concussion) also missed his second straight practice and is likely to be ruled out on Friday. The Saints have not said if Jake Haener or Spencer Rattler will get the start in his place.
Linebacker D'Marco Jackson (ankle) and wide receiver Bub Means (ankle) were also out of practice. Tight end Juwan Johnson (foot) was a limited participant and defensive end Tanoh Kpassagnon (Achilles) was the only Saint listed as a full participant.
