Roschon Johnson was ruled out with a concussion on Saturday and D'Andre Swift was listed as questionable with a groin injury. Travis Homer is the other running back on Chicago's 53-man roster.
Evans ran three times for three yards in his only previous appearance this season. He has 47 carries for 172 yards and a touchdown in 20 career games.
