For the first time in a month, the Bears have scored in the first half of a game. But it came on a costly drive.
The Bears got a touchdown pass from Caleb Williams to Cole Kmet that cut the Lions' lead to 20-7.
Unfortunately, that came on a drive on which the Bears lost offensive lineman Braxton Jones to an ugly ankle injury. Jones' lower leg was placed in an air cast before he was carted off the field. The Bears' entire sideline surrounded him as he was being carted off, and Jones gave a thumbs-up sign as he was taken to the locker room.
The last time the Bears scored in the first half was in Week 12. They're going to need to score at least two more touchdowns, and get a much better effort from their defense, to complete a comeback against the Lions.
