The Bears are adding a veteran defensive back to their 53-man roster.
Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, Chicago is signing safety Adrian Colbert to the active roster off of their practice squad.
Colbert, 31, has appeared in three contests for the Bears this season. He’s played 44 percent of special teams snaps in games played.
A seventh-round pick for the 49ers in 2017, Colbert has appeared in 44 career games with 22 starts for the 49ers, Dolphins, Giants, Jets, Browns, and Bears.
