The Columbus Blue Jackets are locking up one of their league’s top heavyweights.
Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman reported Wednesday that Mathieu Olivier has agreed to a six-year extension with a $3 million average annual value, worth a total of $18 million.
Olivier’s deal also includes a 10-team no-trade clause and is front-loaded, according to Friedman.
