Brandon Graham: I had it wrong about A.J. Brown, Jalen Hurts

Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham is trying to roll back some comments he made about the relationship between quarterback Jalen Hurts and wide receiver A.J. Brown.

Graham was on WIP for his weekly radio show on Monday night and said that "the person that’s complaining need to be accountable" in reference to Brown saying the team's passing attack needs to improve after Sunday's win over the Panthers and intimated that "personal stuff" between the two players is getting in the way of football matters. Graham added that Brown and Hurts were "friends before this" before adding that "things have changed."

In a conversation with Tim McManus of ESPN.com, Graham said that his comments about the relationship between his teammates made assumptions that weren't accurate.

"I made a mistake and I assumed that it was something that it wasn't," Graham said. "I just want to win so bad that I don't just want to use the media when we need to talk about something and we can fix the problem ourselves. I didn't add to it in a good light, so that's my bad. I just assumed, and it made me out to look even worse because I had it all wrong and now people are going to run with that part. I really just want to win, man, and I want brothers to be able to just hash it out."

Graham said he would speak to both Brown and Hurts to apologize for his initial comments and said it was incumbent on him to keep things in house in the first place instead of "just feeding it like I did" on the radio.
