Calf kicks hurt

So I don't train, just watch ufc and wrestling or bjj on a rare occasion. I've wondered what a calf kick would feel like. Today I got kicked by a donkey/burrow. Right on the side of my calf. How many jackasses are equivalent to one jon Jones or Pereira? Right at first I could feel it but still use it. I'm about to go to bed and it's swollen up "like a balloon".
