Canadiens loan Owen Beck, Logan Mailloux to AHL Laval
The Canadiens have loaned centre Owen Beck and defenceman Logan Mailloux to the American Hockey League’s Laval Rocket, the team announced Sunday.
Despite not suiting up for a game in their most recent stint, two of the Montreal Canadiens‘ top prospects are heading back to Laval.

The duo is set to represent the Rocket in the AHL All-Star Classic, which will take place on Monday.
They were recalled by the team on Saturday in preparation for Montreal’s game against the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday. However, neither player dressed in Sunday’s 3-2 loss.
Beck has been productive with the Rocket this season, tallying 11 goals and 16 assists in 41 contests. However, in two appearances with the Canadiens, the 20-year-old has yet to log a point.
The centre was selected in the second round, 33rd overall by the Canadiens in the 2022 draft.
Mailloux, meanwhile, has nine goals and 13 assists in 36 AHL starts this season and one goal and two assists in five NHL starts. The 21-year-old was selected 31st overall in the first round of the 2021 draft.
