Cardinals claim S Jammie Robinson off of waivers

Safety Jammie Robinson is headed to Arizona.

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Cardinals claimed Robinson off of waivers on Monday. The Panthers cut Robinson on Saturday when they activated defensive back Nick Scott.

Robinson was a 2023 fifth-round pick by the Panthers and he appeared in 21 games for the NFC South club. Robinson had 20 tackles in those appearances and saw most of his playing time on special teams.

Robinson will be able to give his new team some insight into his old one this week. The Cardinals are set to visit the Panthers on Sunday afternoon in Week 16.
