CeeDee Lamb is out for the year, but his shoulder injury is not expected to require surgery
The Cowboys receiver finishes the season with 101 receptions for 1,194 and six touchdowns.
The Cowboys announced that CeeDee Lamb's season is finished.
"Additional examinations and scans this week on CeeDee Lamb’s shoulder have determined that his injury has now progressed to a point that he will be listed as 'out' for the remaining two games of the season," the Cowboys said in a statement. "He will undergo a process of treatment and rehabilitation for his shoulder [and] is not currently expected to require surgery and is projected to make a full recovery."
Lamb injured his shoulder in a Week 9 game against the Falcons. He has played through the pain since, even after aggravating it in the Thanksgiving Day game against the Giants and Sunday night's game against the Bucs.
Lamb played little in the second half Sunday night, playing 33 of 60 plays overall, and he was estimated as a non-participant in Wednesday's practice.
Lamb is tied for second in receptions with 101 and third in yards with 1,194 and has six touchdowns, making him a candidate for All-Pro for a second consecutive season.
