Cornerback Steven Nelson has officially come out of retirement to sign with Kansas City's practice squad.
Nelson, 31, started his career with the Chiefs as a third-round pick in 2015.
He appeared in all 17 games with 16 starts for the Texans last season, his second year with the club. Nelson finished 2023 with 63 total tackles, 12 passes defended, and four interceptions.
In 130 career games, Nelson has registered 78 passes defensed and 13 interceptions.
