The Chiefs are one of four teams making a quick turnaround from playing on Saturday to playing on Wednesday, so they issued an injury report on Sunday.
It was an estimated report because the team did not hold an actual practice and it did not feature any surprises. Defensive tackle Chris Jones would have missed practice with the calf injury that knocked him out of Kansas City's win over the Texans.
Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reported on Sunday morning that Jones suffered a grade 1 strain, so it may be a long shot for him to be ready for the Steelers on Christmas.
Left tackle D.J. Humphries (hamstring), cornerback Chamarri Conner (concussion), and linebacker Jack Cochrane (ankle) were also listed as out. Humphries and Conner did not play Saturday while Cochrane fractured his ankle in the win.
Right tackle Jawaan Taylor hurt his knee against the Texans and the Chiefs said he would have been a limited participant. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes (ankle) would have been a full participant.
