The Chiefs came out of Saturday's 27-19 win over the Texans with a few new injuries, including one to defensive tackle Chris Jones.
Jones left the game with a leg injury in the fourth quarter and head coach Andy Reid said early in his postgame press conference that Jones was dealing with a calf injury. Reid said the team would need some time to assess the severity of the injury.
“Probably too early to tell right now,” Reid said. “Probably see how he does here. I can’t tell you that. He’s going to get the MRIs and all that stuff, so I don’t have any of that information.”
Reid also said that right tackle Jawaan Taylor strained his knee and that linebacker Jack Cochrane fractured his ankle. Cochrane won't be back for Wednesday's game against the Steelers, but the other two players will be monitored over the next few days.
