The Colts may be getting a little help in the defensive backfield for the final games of the regular season.
Cornerback JuJu Brents was designated for return from injured reserve on Wednesday. Brents can now resume practicing with the team and he'll be eligible to be activated for any of their three remaining regular season games.
Brents started the season opener against the Texans and had seven tackles before suffering a knee injury that has kept him out for the last 13 games.
Brents was a second-round pick in 2023 and he had 43 tackles, an interception, six passes defensed, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery in nine games as a rookie.
