Colts rule out Alec Pierce, E.J. Speed

The Colts won't have wide receiver Alec Pierce for Sunday's game against the Titans.
Pierce suffered a concussion against the Broncos last week and head coach Shane Steichen said on Friday that he has been ruled out for this weekend. Pierce leads the team with 645 receiving yards, so his absence will be a noticeable one for the offense.
Steichen also said that linebacker E.J. Speed is going to the AFC South matchup. Speed has a knee injury.
The Colts have designated cornerback JuJu Brents, center Ryan Kelly, and linebacker Jaylon Carlies for return in the last couple of weeks. They will need to be activated by Saturday afternoon's deadline in order to play this week.
