Crying after first hard spar

I'm a fairly old guy (22) and i just had my first hard spar yesterday, before that i did have light spars where I'd get the wind knocked out of me every few jabs and escapes, but this was different i got overwhelmed if felt like i have no chance, i only got to throw a low kick a teep and a hook before i was suddenly on the ground hyperventilating, people and the coach said i did good but i feel like they just felt bad, that made me tear up but i held it until the walk home where i let it all out on the night streets like a crazy person, anyways at least i know the hit were good because I'm bruised everywhere this morning. submitted by /u/AlienatedMonk [link] [comments]
