Dawson Knox: It's really a privilege to play with Josh Allen

Bills quarterback Josh Allen was the favorite to be the league's MVP heading into Sunday's game in Detroit and he all but closed the door on the competition before the day was out.

Allen threw for 362 yards and two scores while also running for two touchdowns in a 48-42 road win over the top team in the NFC. It was Buffalo's eighth-straight game with at least 30 points and even a play that was wiped out by penalty stood out as a highlight for the quarterback.

That came when Allen used a basketball-style chest pass to hit tight end Dalton Kincaid for a touchdown that was called back due to holding. It still merited a mention from tight end Dawson Knox when he was musing about the chance to play with Allen after the game.

"This dude's incredible," Knox said, via Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com. "It's hard to describe what he does on a consistent basis every single Sunday. I've talked about it before, but sometimes you just turn into a fan. I mean, he threw a chest pass touchdown to Dalton got called back, but he's lifting the ball to guys, making plays with his feet. I'm yelling in my head [for him] to slide, but he's running guys over. It's so much fun to play with that dude. It's really a privilege, and I hope I get to play with him as long as I possibly can."

Allen went for X-rays after the game, but they didn't turn up anything that threatens to put a stop to the best season of the quarterback's career. He will look to keep it rolling against the Patriots in Week 16.
