Dolphins place Grant DuBose on injured reserve

Two days after Dolphins receiver Grant DuBose suffered a serious head injury during a game in Houston, the Dolphins have ended his season.

DuBose has been placed on injured reserve.

The team has not provided an update on DuBose's status since Monday, when the team announced that DuBose "has movement in all extremities and initial tests have revealed positive results."

The Dolphins also have signed long snapper Jake McQuaide to the active roster off the practice squad. The team also signed wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie and quarterback Skylar Thompson to the practice squad.

The Dolphins released Thompson, who entered the season as the primary backup to Tua Tagovailoa, last week. He cleared waivers on Monday.
