One of the longest-tenured Ducks players is seemingly nearing a move.

The Anaheim Ducks are working on a trade that will send defenceman Cam Fowler to the St. Louis Blues, Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman reported Saturday.

The return has yet to be reported.

Fowler, 33, has yet to light the lamp this season but has four assists. Over his 15 seasons in Anaheim, he has 96 goals and 361 assists.

The Windsor, Ont. native is the longest-serving active member of the Ducks, having suited up for 991 games with the California-based team. He was drafted by the franchise in the first round (12th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.

Earlier this season, he passed Corey Perry for the second-most games played in a Ducks uniform, behind only Ryan Getzlaf.

Fowler played in his first and only All-Star Game in the 2016-17 season when he tallied 11 goals and 28 assists in 80 games.

He is signed through the 2025-26 season and carries a $6.5 million cap hit for this year and the next.
