Mets closer Edwin Diaz left Wednesday's game against the Phillies with a left hip cramp.

Diaz was pitching with one out in the top of the 10th when he stepped off the mound and signaled to the dugout.

Shortly after Carlos Mendoza, Jeremy Hefner, and the trainer came out to visit, and he exited the game.

Diaz isn't expected to undergo any testing and Carlos Mendoza says they'll see how he feels on Thursday.

Prior to exiting, the right-hander put together a perfect ninth inning on 11 pitches.

In the 10th, he recorded the first out before Bryce Harper (the phantom runner) stole third base and scored on a Nick Castellanos single through the drawn-in infield.

Max Kranick, who was pushed to a third inning on Monday night, replaced Diaz on the mound and was able to escape without further damage before Starling Marte walked things off.
