In partnership with the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton, the European Open Pool Championship—the first Matchroom Major of the 2025 season—is set to deliver its most exciting edition yet in the vibrant city of Sarajevo.

Hosted at the stunning Hotel Hills Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina, from March 11-16, 2025, this marquee event will be broadcast live worldwide, including on Sky Sports in the UK & Ireland, Viaplay across multiple European regions, and WNT TV in the USA, Vietnam, and other international territories.

EUROPEAN OPEN POOL CHAMPIONSHIP

  • Dates: March 11-16, 2025
  • Venue: Hills Hotel Sarajevo, Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina

PLAYERS
The European Open Pool Championship will feature an elite 256-player field, including the top 128 World Nineball Tour professionals alongside wild card competitors. Expect to see the biggest names in the sport battle it out for glory.
PRIZE FUND
The total prize fund for the 2025 European Open Pool Championship stands at $200,000, with the champion set to take home an increased top prize of $40,000.

  • Winner – $40,000
  • Runner-Up – $16,000
  • Semi-finalists (x2) – $10,000
  • Quarter-finalists (x4) – $7,000
  • Last 16 (x8) – $4,000
  • Last 32 (x16) – $2,000
  • Last 64 (x32) – $1,000
