According to Sportsnet’s Eric Francis, Flames head coach Ryan Huska has scratched forward Yegor Sharangovich and defencemen Brad Pachal and Ilya Solovyov for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes.

After being held scoreless through their last two games, the Calgary Flames are switching up their lineup.
According to Sportsnet’s Eric Francis, Flames head coach Ryan Huska has scratched forward Yegor Sharangovich and defencemen Brad Pachal and Ilya Solovyov for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes.
The trio will be replaced by Adam Klapka, Jake Bean and Daniil Miromanov.
Sharangovich is the most notable among the scratches, as the 26-year-old has not been a healthy scratch this season.
Coming off a 31-goal year in 2023-24, Sharangovich has just 11 through 52 games this season and hasn’t scored in Calgary’s last six games.
Sunday’s contest will also be the first game that Pachal has missed this season. The 25-year-old blue liner has averaged 14:29 of ice time over 59 games for the Flames, recording two goals, six points and a minues-2 rating.
Calgary enters play Sunday one point behind the Vancouver Canucks for the final wild-card spot in the Western Conference.
