Calgary Flames forward Connor Zary will be sidelined week-to-week with a lower-body injury, the team announced.

Calgary got some positive news when it was reported that Zary didn’t suffer a broken leg against the Dallas Stars on Thursday. However, the forward will still miss time.

Zary suffered the injury on an awkward collision with Rantanen in the third period and did not return to the game.

Rantanen lost an edge midway through the third and slid into Zary along the boards. Zary’s knee appeared to get stuck, bending at an awkward angle as he fell.
