George Pickens listed as limited in practice, has "real chance" to play Wednesday

The Steelers didn't hold an actual practice session on Sunday, but their estimated injury report brought some hope about wide receiver George Pickens's chances of playing against the Chiefs on Christmas.

Pickens was listed as a limited participant in practice for the first time since injuring his hamstring heading into Week 14. Head coach Mike Tomlin included Pickens in a list of players who have a shot of returning to action on Wednesday.

"Some guys that didn't play yesterday who have a real chance this week Justin Fields, DeShon Elliott, Donte Jackson, George Pickens and Larry Ogunjobi all have an opportunity to play this week," Tomlin said, via the team's website. "But again, we'll see where the week leads us from their inclusion."

Elliott (hamstring), Jackson (back) and Ogunjobi (groin) were also listed as limited. Fields (abdomen) was out along with wide receiver Ben Skowronek (hip) and cornerback Joey Porter Jr. (knee). Skowronek and Porter were both injured in Saturday's loss to the Ravens and Tomlin said both players are "going to have a difficult time" being ready due to the quick turnaround between games.
