Dolphins wide receiver Grant DuBose was transported to Memorial Hermman Medical Center in Houston with a serious injury.

The Dolphins announced he is stable condition and is ruled out with a head injury.

DuBose was injured on a hit by Texans safety Calen Bullock, who was penalized 15 yards for a hit on a defenseless receiver. DuBose appeared to go into the fencing pose, a sign of a serious head injury.

Medical staff worked on DuBose for 11 minutes, taking off his shoulder pads, cutting off his jersey and unscrewing his facemask. DuBose appeared to be hooked up to an EKG machine and was on oxygen as he departed on a stretcher to an awaiting ambulance.

He also was wearing a neck brace.

This was DuBose's first game since Week 2 when he injured his shoulder and landed on injured reserve. The Dolphins claimed him off waivers in August.
