Running back Kimani Vidal had one of the big plays on the drive, running 19 yards down to the Denver 35. Then on third-and-2, quarterback Justin Herbert took advantage of a free play with a defensive offside penalty to find receiver Joshua Palmer for a 24-yard gain down to Denver’s 3-yard line.
A couple of plays later, Edwards was in the end zone for a 1-yard score.
It was Edwards’ third rushing touchdown of the season.
