Hellebuyck, Morrissey to miss first Jets game after 4 Nations
The Winnipeg Jets are tapping into their goaltending depth following the taxing 4 Nations Face-Off. The team announced on Friday that it has recalled netminder Kaapo Kahkonen from its AHL affiliate, the Manitoba Moose.

The Winnipeg Jets will not have two important players in the lineup after a taxing 4 Nations Face-Off.
Goaltender Connor Hellebuyck and defenceman Josh Morrissey will not be in the lineup Saturday against the St. Louis Blues, head coach Scott Arniel confirmed Friday.
Hellebuyck started for the United States in Thursday’s 4 Nations final and made 24 saves in the 3-2 overtime loss.
Morrissey missed the final for Canada due to illness.
Arniel added that star winger Kyle Connor, who was a healthy scratch by the American team in the final, is hoping to play against the Blues.
Eric Comrie is expected to start for the Jets on Saturday and goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen was recalled from the AHL to be backup.
