Hollywood Brown "felt good" in return to practice, could play Saturday

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes's ankle is the lead injury story in Kansas City this week, but it's not the only one.

Wide receiver Hollywood Brown returned to practice last week for the first time since injuring his sternoclavicular joint in the team's first preseason game. Head coach Andy Reid said at his Tuesday press conference that Brown "felt good" and "moved around well" during the session and said that he could play it against the Texans this Saturday.

Reid said that cornerback Steven Nelson, who recently signed to the practice squad, is probably further away from playing than Brown. The team opened a roster spot for Brown or someone else by waiving running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire on Monday.

Left tackle D.J. Humphries (hamstring) and defensive back Chamarri Conner (concussion) are not practicing on Tuesday.
