Three teams are looking to punch their tickets to the Stanley Cup Playoffs on Saturday.
Fate is in the hands of the Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers as they look to secure spots in the Eastern Conference, but the Los Angeles Kings will still need a bit of help elsewhere to get the job done in the Western Conference.
Here are the scenarios for each team, courtesy of NHL Public Relations:
Lightning
• If they get at least one point against the Buffalo Sabres.
• Any result in the New York Rangers vs. New Jersey Devils game other than a Rangers regulation win or the Montreal Canadiens lose to the Philadelphia Flyers in regulation.
