- The Mets' offense simply couldn't come through with the big hit they needed in a 3-1 Opening Day loss to the Astros
- Juan Soto had his chance late in the game with the tying runs on-base, but Houston closer Josh Hadergot him swinging on a nasty slider out of the zone
