Is it bad to use your front leg kicks a lot more than back leg?

I come from a karate background so my best kicks are front leg kicks and I find success using them in sparring. Is it bad to use only your front leg? Back leg low kicks get taught a lot in my class. Would it be a disadvantage to me if I didn’t use my back leg? I feel it puts me in more vulnerable positions for an opponent to counter me when I’m using my back leg low kick or body kick. Also any tips for checking low kicks from a more bladed stance or will I have to just adapt my stance to be square on? submitted by /u/NitroPie7 [link] [comments]
