Jones hit wide receiver Brian Thomas for a touchdown on the team's opening drive of the game and led them on two other scoring drives over the course of the first half. Both of those drives ended with Cam Little field goals and the Jaguars lead 13-7 as a result.
Jones was 18-of-24 for 114 yards, but threw an interception to end the only Jaguars drive that didn't end with points. He also ran for 24 yards and his overall success allowed the Jaguars to possess the ball for more than 21 minutes.
The Jets scored a touchdown on their first possession when Aaron Rodgers hit Garrett Wilson from 22 yards out. That came after safety Ashtyn Davis converted a fake punt on the team's own 35-yard-line, but the other two Jets possessions ended with punts and they'll need to come up with something better to kick off the third quarter.
