Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase continued his terrific season in Sunday's victory over the Browns with six catches for 97 yards — including a 32-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.
After Sunday’s win, Chase now has 1,510 yards this season, which is a new franchise record. Chase broke his previous mark of 1,455 yards from his rookie season in 2021.
"It feels good. It's something I wanted to do,” Chase told reporters after the game. “Me being competitive, I want to compete with myself, so it was a good thing I did that. It was a goal for me.”
After starting the season 1-4 and falling to 4-8 in Week 13, the Bengals have now won three in a row to keep their postseason hopes alive. They have a chance to get back to .500 and gain a key tiebreaker when they play the Broncos on Saturday in Week 17.
“We know what we've been through to get here,” Chase said "We just have to stay as a unit with this team, and everybody should be on the same page and communicating. Just executing when it's time to execute, and when you've got to be in position, you've got to be there. Everyone is doing a good job just taking it a week at a time and taking care of business.”
