The Winnipeg Jets are back in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the third straight season.

The Winnipeg Jets are back in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the third straight season.
Earning at least a point against the Washington Capitals with Tuesday’s game going beyond regulation, the Jets became the second team to clinch a post-season spot.
The only other team to do so is the Capitals, who secured their berth on Thursday.
The Jets later beat the Capitals in overtime to earn the extra point thanks to a snipe from Nikolaj Ehlers.
Washington leads the Eastern Conference with 102 points, while Winnipeg tops the Western Conference with the same total.
The Jets were eliminated in the first round in each of the past two seasons and have not won a playoff series since 2020-21.
More to come.
