Jacob Julien will have a chance to go from the best team in the OHL to the top team in the NHL.
The Winnipeg Jets signed the London Knights forward to a three-year, entry-level deal, the club announced Thursday. The average annual value is $925,000.
The six-foot-four Julien has 10 goals and 35 assists in 58 games for the OHL-leading Knights this season. The London native helped the team win the OHL title last year.
The Jets picked Julien, 20, in the fifth round (146th overall) of the 2023 NHL Draft.
