Ravens head coach John Harbaugh spoke to reporters on Monday for the first time since the team announced that wide receiver Diontae Johnson would be suspended for this week's game against the Giants and he didn't have much to add to the original statement.
The statement from General Manager Eric DeCosta cited Johnson's refusal to enter the team's Week 13 game against the Eagles as the reason for his suspension and Harbaugh pointed to that statement when asked where things stand with Johnson.
"I think the statement said there would be no further comment on that,” Harbaugh said at his press conference. "We’ll kind of leave it at that and we’ll see where it goes as time permits.
The Ravens acquired Johnson in a trade with the Panthers in late October. He has one catch in four games with the team.
