John Harbaugh: Playing our best football is important, everything else is a sideshow

The Ravens are back from their bye week to begin a four-game stretch that will determine their playoff fate.
At 8-5, they know that winning out will put them in the postseason tournament but there are a range of possibilities for where in the tournament they'll be seeded. Those possibilities are contingent on other results, but head coach John Harbaugh only wants the team to be thinking about what's in front of them because they need to take care of their own business before thinking about anything else.
"We want to play our best football right now — that's what we're really focusing on doing," Harbaugh said, via the team's website. "Everything else is just a sideshow; everything else is just a distraction. None of it is important. What's important is our football. The football. Getting the football right, playing our best football that we're capable of playing, everybody locked in for that – that's really what it's all about. Nothing else matters; everything else is just static."
The Ravens will be in Jersey to face the Giants this Sunday and Week 16 brings a Saturday home date with the Steelers. Week 17 is another short turnaround to a Christmas road game against the Texans, so the Ravens have plenty to keep them occupied over the next two weeks.
