On a milestone night for John Tavares, his Toronto Maple Leafs kept the good times rolling.

Tavares had two goals and an assist to give him 1,100 points for his career as the visiting Leafs beat the New York Rangers 4-3 on Thursday.

It was the third win in a row for the Leafs, and allowed them to sweep a back-to-back after beating the Colorado Avalanche 24 hours earlier in Toronto.

Bobby McMann and Matthew Knies also scored for Toronto.

Artemi Panarin, Will Borgen and Chris Kreider replied for the struggling Rangers.

The Leafs are in Nashville on Saturday.
