Josh Allen briefly lost feeling in his right hand during win over Patriots

Bills quarterback Josh Allen took a helmet to the funny bone in his right arm during Sunday's game against the Patriots and it wasn't a laughing matter for the MVP favorite.

Allen told Evan Washburn of CBS Sports after the game that he had "no feeling" in his right hand after taking the shot in the second half of the game and that his next throw "came out a little wobbly" as a result. Allen was able to get time to recover thanks when the Bills defense recovered a Patriots fumble for a touchdown and never missed a snap during the 24-21 win.

"It took a good 5-10 minutes of just making sure — trying to get some blood flow back in there and some activation. . . . It’s a weird feeling, glad it’s gone now," Allen said, via Jenna Cottrell of WHAM.

The win kept the Bills alive in the race for the top seed in the AFC and having a healthy Allen is essential to their chances of passing the Chiefs, so everything ended up well for them on Sunday evening.
