Josh Allen: We have to come out with urgency, we didn't in any phase vs. Rams

The Bills comeback effort came up just short against the Rams on Sunday afternoon, with the club falling 44-42 to Los Angeles.
Quarterback Josh Allen's stat line would tell you that he wasn't the problem, as he became the first player to ever finish with three passing touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns in a regular-season game. He was 22-of-37 passing for 342 yards and led the team with 82 rushing yards on 10 carries.
But Buffalo was down 24-14 at halftime and was down 38-21 at the end of the third quarter, which put the team in a hole it ultimately couldn’t climb out of.
“We have to come out with some urgency,” Allen said in his postgame press conference. “I don't think at any phase of the game did we do that today.”
With Sunday’s full results, the Bills lost ground to the Chiefs in the race for the AFC’s No. 1 seed and will have another tough task on the road next week when they face the Lions in Detroit.
“They’re the top dog in football right now,” Allen said of the Lions. “They're playing extremely well. We have to have a good week, and learn from this one, and put it behind us.
“That was a good team that we just played with a really good quarterback. They played with urgency. At that point in the season, they're playing like they have to be in the playoffs right now. You saw that and you felt that from them.”
With the Lions fighting for the NFC North title as well as the conference’s No. 1 seed, it will certainly be a playoff-type atmosphere in Detroit next Sunday.
