Lamar Jackson throws 5 TD passes, Ravens improve to 9-5 with blowout win over Giants

The Ravens were 17-point favorites over the Giants today, the biggest point spread in the NFL this season. And the result was the blowout everyone expected.

Baltimore went to New York and won easily, jumping out to a 14-0 lead and never looking back on their way to a 35-14 win.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was excellent, throwing five touchdown passes and no interceptions. Jackson has largely fallen out of the MVP discussion, but he remains one of the NFL's truly elite players, as he showed once again today.

The Ravens' defense did what it needed to do, although it didn't need to do much. Tommy DeVito started at quarterback for the Giants but exited with a concussion just before halftime. Tim Boyle came in and replaced DeVito and looked like the better quarterback of the two, not that that's saying much.

Boyle is the fourth quarterback the Giants have played in this ugly year for New York football. They're now 2-12 and thinking about the 2025 NFL draft, where based on current standings they own the top pick — and where they'll hope to find their next franchise quarterback.

But the Ravens, who improved to 9-5, have their quarterback and have their sights set on a playoff run.
