Lopes vs Volk may be a stupid choice
If Lopes wins against Volk, it might be a allright choice. Might. He will have beaten a former champ in Volk and even though it is a vacant belt at the moment, it will be a legit win over a former champ in Volk, so having him as a champion is somewhat legit (when you for a moment forget there is also a guy named Evloev in the same division). If Volk wins, the belt will be worthless, because Ilia beat the shit out of Volk. Volk will not be seen as a legit champ for anyone with at least 2 brain cells. Especially when you consider that the guy has 2 straights losses as his last fights, getting finished in both. Against champs, but still. Fighting for the title is illogical.
