Jake McCabe will be in the lineup for Sunday’s series opener against the Ottawa Senators, head coach Craig Berube confirmed on Saturday.
Berube did not have a definitive status for fellow defenceman Oliver Ekman-Larsson, who will be a game-time decision. The veteran told reporters after practice that he felt good.
McCabe has been out of the lineup since April 2 after getting hit into the boards against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Ekman-Larsson left the lineup on April 9 against the Tampa Bay Lightning with an undisclosed injury.
