The Toronto Maple Leafs completed a huge comeback in dramatic fashion.
Mitch Marner scored in overtime to give the visiting Leafs a 5-4 win over the Boston Bruins on Tuesday.
Toronto was down 3-0 before rallying for its third win in a row.
Bruins star David Pastrnak broke a 3-3 tie midway through the third period, but Pontus Holmberg tied it with 46 seconds left.
The Leafs lost key defenceman Chris Tanev early in the first period after he was hit by John Beecher. Tanev was ruled out with an upper-body injury prior to the second period.
Pastrnak opened the scoring just 29 seconds into the game with a breakaway goal for the Bruins before Brad Marchand and Morgan Geekie put the home side up 3-0.
Pastrnak’s second goal of the night was his 30th of the season. He is now on an NHL season-high 15-game point streak.
Morgan Rielly, Marner and Nick Robertson scored earlier in the game for the Leafs.
Toronto returns to action Friday in New York against the Rangers.
