Two of this generation’s greatest scorers headline the Edmonton Oilers‘ quarter-century team.
Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl headline the Oilers’ First Team. They are joined by Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Evan Bouchard, Darnell Nurse and Dwayne Roloson.
The Second Team features forwards Ales Hemsky, Shawn Horcoff and Ryan Smyth, defencemen Mattias Ekholm and Jason Smith and goaltender Tommy Salo.
The teams were selected by local broadcasters and writers, as well as select former players. A player qualified to be included if they played at least one game for the Oilers after Jan. 1, 2000.
