Michigan CB Will Johnson will enter the draft

One of this year's top cornerback prospects has formally declared for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Will Johnson announced that he will be leaving Michigan for the professional ranks on Wednesday. Johnson is widely expected to be selected early in the first round in April.

Johnson was a first-team All-American in 2023 as he helped the Wolverines to a national title, but he was limited to six games this season due to injury. He made an impact in those appearances with interception returns for touchdowns in wins over Fresno State and USC.

Johnson also had a pick-six in 2023 and leaves Michigan with 68 tackles, nine interceptions and 10 passes defensed overall.
