Berlin is the latest city confirmed as a host of the NFL's series of international games.
The NFL announced today that a regular-season game in 2025 will be played at Berlin Olympic Stadium. The league sees Germany as a growing market for American football, and has previously played games in Munich and Frankfurt.
The league also announced that it intends to work with schools and clubs in Berlin to promote flag football ahead of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, where flag football will make its debut as an Olympic sport and the league is hoping to see increased international interest in American football.
The NFL has also announced that it will play at least two games in London and one in Madrid next year, and more international announcements could be coming. In all, the league may play as many as eight regular-season games outside the United States in 2025.
