The best player in the NHL is adding yet another accolade to his already long list. 

Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid had a goal against the Nashville Predators on Thursday, bringing him to 1,000 career points.

Leon Draisaitl dished off to McDavid on a two-on-one to tie the game at 1-1 in the second period.

The captain hit the historic total in 659 games, becoming the fourth-fastest in NHL history to complete the feat, behind only Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux and Mike Bossy.
